Captain Mohammed Bazina

Capt. Mohamed Bazina brings over three decades of experience in the global shipping industry, combining practical expertise with a strong academic foundation. He holds a Master of Science in Shipping Management from New York Maritime College, a Master Mariner License, and a Diploma in Advanced Chartering (Time & Voyage Chartering) from the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (USA). He has also earned chartering certificates from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and BIMCO. Capt. Bazina served as a Lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Alexandria, teaching Maritime Law and Chartering. He also advised on commercial maritime disputes and chartering cases in Egyptian courts on behalf of AASTMT. His professional career includes 17 years with Qatar Petroleum, where he held various positions and served on the Maritime Committee of the State of Qatar, providing legal advice on maritime matters. Additionally, he has 10 years of seafaring experience on various ship types. Currently, Capt. Bazina works as a consultant specializing in commercial maritime issues, dispute resolution, contract negotiation (including Sale & Purchase and chartering agreements), and delivers training on Ships' Chartering and Maritime Law.
